Num dia surpreendentemente quente, com 28ºC em pleno verão, partimos do porto de Stavanger para uma das experiências mais marcantes na Noruega: um cruzeiro silencioso e sustentável pelo Lysefjord.
A saída pelo porto de Stavanger ofereceu vistas da cidade, casas coloridas e um ambiente vibrante. Ao navegar pelo Høgsfjorden, a paisagem misturava ilhas, casas de férias, campos agrícolas e pisciculturas de salmão.
Em Oanes, entrámos oficialmente no Lysefjord, e o cenário transformou-se radicalmente com as enormes paredes de granito. Foi aqui que conhecemos os destaques da viagem:
- Fantahålå (Caverna dos Vagabundos): um refúgio lendário de fugitivos.
- Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock): uma das formações rochosas mais famosas do mundo, a 604 metros de altura.
- Cascata Hengjanefossen: o barco aproxima-se da queda de água para nos deixar sentir a frescura do seu spray.
O regresso foi tranquilo e perfeito para absorver cada detalhe que antes nos escapara.
EN// Stavanger – Scenic Cruise through Lysefjord to Preikestolen
On an unusually warm day, with 28ºC in the summer sun, we set off from Stavanger harbor for one of the most memorable experiences in Norway: a silent, eco-friendly cruise through the Lysefjord.
Leaving the harbor of Stavanger, we enjoyed views of the colorful city and its lively waterfront. Along the Høgsfjorden, the scenery revealed summer cabins, small islands, farmland, and salmon farms.
At Oanes, we entered the Lysefjord, where towering granite walls framed the journey and revealed its main highlights:
- Fantahålå (Vagabond’s Cave): a legendary hideout used by outlaws.
- Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock): the world-famous cliff rising 604 meters above sea level.
- Hengjanefossen Waterfall: the boat gets close enough to feel the refreshing mist.
The way back was calm, allowing us to notice details we had missed and relax before the next adventure.
