A subida é feita através de 34 rampas suaves, projetadas para permitir que o almuadem subisse a cavalo. No topo, espera-nos uma vista panorâmica de 360º sobre Sevilha: a Catedral, o centro histórico, o Guadalquivir e a imponente Plaza de España.

Climbing the Giralda is one of the must-do experiences in Seville.
Built in 1184 as the minaret of the Almohad mosque, the Giralda was transformed into the Cathedral’s belfry after the Christian reconquest in the 13th century. Today, it is regarded as a unique example of Islamic and Christian architectural fusion, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The ascent consists of 34 ramps, originally designed so the muezzin could ride up on horseback. At the top, visitors are rewarded with a breathtaking 360º panoramic view of Seville: the Cathedral, the historic center, the Guadalquivir River, and the stunning Plaza de España.
