Desde a Pousada de Viseu, exploramos a pé a cidade de Viseu, onde destacamos a Praça da República, o coração da cidade, onde encontramos a Igreja dos Terceiros de São Francisco e o edificio da Câmara Municipal. Junto ao Jardim das Mães, podemos ver o magnifico Painel de Azulejos, que simboliza muito da cultura portuguesa. No centro histórico, a Rua Direita é de passagem obrigatória e é na Praça da Sé que encontramos a Sé Catedral, o Museu Nacional Grão Vasco e a Igreja da Misericórdia de Viseu.
Terminamos o passeio, com passagem no Teatro Viriato (um dos principais centros culturais da cidade), a Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição e o Mural de Viriato (um exemplo de arte urbana e uma das principais atrações da cidade).

EN// Starting from Viseu Guesthouse, we explored the city of Viseu on foot. We highlighted the Republic Square, the heart of the city, where we found the Church of the Third Order of St. Francis and the City Hall building. Next to the Mothers’ Garden, we can admire the magnificent Tile Panel, which symbolizes a significant part of Portuguese culture. In the historic center, the Direita Street is a must-visit, and it’s at the Cathedral Square that we find the Cathedral Sé, the Grão Vasco National Museum, and the Church of Mercy of Viseu.
We concluded our tour with a stop at the Viriato Theater (one of the main cultural centers of the city), the Church of Our Lady of Conception, and the Viriato Mural (an example of urban art and one of the main attractions of the city).
