Este troço da Scenic Route Ryfylke leva-nos de Årdal até ao Hjelmeland Ferjekai, atravessando um cenário rural autêntico. Pelo caminho encontramos quintas, prados e pequenas casas, sempre ladeados por montanhas que anunciam a proximidade do fiorde. A descida final até Hjelmeland oferece vistas cada vez mais abertas, culminando no terminal de ferry, ponto de partida para a travessia do fiorde.

A Scenic Route Ryfylke termina com um dos troços mais fascinantes de toda a viagem: o percurso entre Svandalsfossen e Allmannajuvet, passando por Sauda. A estrada sobe e desce entre montanhas e vales, acompanhando rios e cascatas que ilustram a força da natureza norueguesa.
Em Sauda, o percurso ganha uma dimensão cultural — esta antiga cidade industrial conserva a memória da mineração e do trabalho nas montanhas, agora integrada num ambiente pacato e rodeado por paisagens deslumbrantes.
O ponto final, Allmannajuvet, surpreende pela combinação entre natureza e arquitetura. O projeto do arquiteto Peter Zumthor transforma o antigo complexo mineiro num espaço de contemplação, onde o design minimalista e o ambiente selvagem criam uma harmonia rara.

Ao longo deste troço final da Scenic Route Ryfylke, viajamos pela estrada FV520, desde o histórico complexo mineiro de Allmannajuvet até ao cruzamento com a E134, em Røldal. Este percurso de montanha é um dos mais belos da rota, com vistas sobre lagos serenos, vales profundos e picos que conservam neve durante grande parte do ano. A estrada serpenteia entre curvas panorâmicas, revelando, a cada instante, a força e a tranquilidade da paisagem norueguesa.

Neste troço da Scenic Route Hardanger, seguimos de Røldal até Hildal, acompanhando o rio Grønsdalslona entre vales profundos e encostas cobertas de vegetação. O percurso passa por Skare e revela as majestosas Espelandsfossen e Vidfossen, duas das cascatas que anunciam a entrada na região do Hardanger.
A intenção inicial era seguir até à famosa Låtefossen, mas as condições locais não permitiram parar para a visita. Assim, o vídeo termina logo após Hildal, num dos pontos mais pitorescos da estrada. Um percurso curto, mas repleto de contrastes entre o verde exuberante, a força das quedas de água e a serenidade dos vales noruegueses.
In this section of the Scenic Route Hardanger, we travel from Røldal to Hildal, following the Grønsdalslona River through deep valleys and forested slopes. The route passes through Skare and by the beautiful Espelandsfossen and Vidfossen waterfalls, which mark the beginning of the Hardanger region.
The original plan was to continue to the famous Låtefossen, but local conditions made it impossible to stop there. The video ends shortly after Hildal, in one of the most scenic points along the road. A short but stunning drive, filled with contrasts between lush green landscapes, powerful waterfalls, and the calm of Norway’s valleys.

Scenic Route Hardanger/E134: De Hildal A Langfossen
Neste percurso da Scenic Route Hardanger/E134, regressamos de Hildal em direção a Langfossen, passando novamente por Låtefossen, cuja imponência é visível mesmo sem paragem. A estrada conduz-nos pelo Åkrafjord, acompanhando o fiorde e revelando paisagens de montanha que parecem tocar o céu.
O destino final é Langfossen, uma das cascatas mais impressionantes da Noruega, com uma queda de mais de 600 metros diretamente até às águas do fiorde. É um dos lugares onde o poder e a serenidade da natureza norueguesa se encontram num cenário de rara beleza.
In this stretch of the Scenic Route Hardanger/E134, we drive back from Hildal towards Langfossen, passing again by Låtefossen, whose twin streams impress even from the moving car. The road then follows the Åkrafjord, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and fjord.
Our destination is Langfossen, one of Norway’s most powerful and spectacular waterfalls, cascading over 600 meters directly into the fjord. This route combines the raw energy of nature with the calm beauty of western Norway’s landscapes.

Scenic Route Hardanger: De Hildal a Espenes
Este percurso da Scenic Route Hardanger começa em Hildal e segue até à área de descanso de Espenes, junto ao fiorde. Antes do início das imagens, passámos novamente pela famosa Låtefossen. Desta vez, na terceira passagem, foi finalmente possível estacionar e visitar esta cascata única, formada por duas quedas de água que se unem antes de atravessarem sob a estrada.
As imagens mostram o troço em que a estrada acompanha o Hardangerfjord, atravessando Sandvin e Odda, uma vila rodeada por montanhas e cascatas, até continuar por Espe, Hovland e Børve. O percurso termina em Espenes, uma zona de descanso perfeita para apreciar o cenário tranquilo do fiorde e o esplendor natural da região de Hardanger.
This section of the Scenic Route Hardanger starts in Hildal and ends at the Espenes rest area, right by the fjord. Before the footage begins, we passed once more by the famous Låtefossen. This time, on our third pass, we finally managed to stop and visit this unique twin waterfall, where two powerful streams merge before passing under the bridge.
The footage captures the road as it follows the Hardangerfjord, passing through Sandvin and Odda, a town framed by mountains and waterfalls, before continuing via Espe, Hovland, and Børve. The journey concludes at Espenes, a peaceful rest area ideal for admiring the fjord’s calm waters and the breathtaking Hardanger landscape.
