Durante a nossa estadia explorámos não apenas os espaços do hotel, mas também a envolvente natural que torna este local tão especial.
O edifício principal do Hotel Nes Gard mantém o ambiente acolhedor de uma antiga quinta norueguesa, cuidadosamente adaptada para receber hóspedes sem perder a autenticidade da arquitetura original.
Os interiores apresentam uma combinação entre tradição escandinava e conforto moderno, criando um ambiente tranquilo e elegante no meio da natureza.
Ficámos hospedados no quarto Feigumfossen (nº21), inspirado na cascata visível nas proximidades. O hotel dispõe ainda de um quarto moderno em vidro integrado na paisagem, oferecendo uma experiência diferente e uma ligação ainda mais próxima com o ambiente natural.
Um dos momentos mais agradáveis da estadia é o percurso até às margens do Lustrafjorden. Pelo caminho encontramos a pequena e tranquila Nes Kirk, uma igreja histórica rodeada pela paisagem típica dos fiordes noruegueses.
Junto à água existe também uma pequena praia equipada com sauna e jacuzzi, um complemento perfeito para relaxar enquanto se aprecia a vista sobre o fjord e as montanhas.

Reserva tempo para simplesmente desfrutar da envolvente do hotel. Entre o silêncio do fjord, a vista para a Feigumfossen e os espaços exteriores, esta é uma daquelas estadias para apreciar sem pressa.

In the heart of the Sogn region, 200 meters from the shores of the Lustrafjord, Hotel Nes Gard offers an authentic and relaxing experience in the Norwegian fjords. Set in a former family farm dating back to 1850, this boutique hotel combines tradition, comfort and an exceptional location surrounded by mountains and waterfalls.
During our stay, we explored not only the hotel itself but also the beautiful natural surroundings that make this place so memorable.
The main building of Hotel Nes Gard preserves the warm atmosphere of a traditional Norwegian farm, carefully adapted into a boutique hotel while maintaining the authenticity of its original architecture.
The interiors blend Scandinavian tradition with modern comfort, creating a peaceful and elegant setting in the middle of nature.
We stayed in the Feigumfossen room (No. 21), inspired by the nearby waterfall. The hotel also offers a modern glass room integrated into the landscape, providing a different experience and an even closer connection with the natural surroundings
One of the most enjoyable parts of the stay is the walk down to the shores of the Lustrafjord. Along the way, we passed the peaceful Nes Kirk, a small historic church surrounded by the classic scenery of the Norwegian fjords.
Near the water, a small beach area with a sauna and jacuzzi provides the perfect place to relax while enjoying the fjord and mountain views.
💡 Tip
Take time to simply enjoy the surroundings of the hotel. Between the silence of the fjord, the views of Feigumfossen and the outdoor spaces, this is the kind of stay best enjoyed slowly.
