EN// We woke up to Lanzarote’s volcanic horizon unfolding before us as MSC Musica gently approached the port of Arrecife. The contrast between the deep Atlantic blue and the island’s dark, sculpted terrain hinted at a day shaped by fire and wind.
This was a ship-organized excursion, guiding us through landscapes that feel almost unreal — lava fields, unlikely vineyards, and traditions quietly preserved across the island. Between bright sunshine and short spells of rain that added even more drama to the scenery, we experienced a side of Lanzarote that is felt far more than it is explained.
Arrecife – Panoramic View from MSC Musica
EN// A first glimpse that sets the tone for discovery.
From the deck, Arrecife slowly unfolded before us, its white buildings and the sea reflecting every shift in light. There is something unique about that moment when you are still on board, yet already connected to the destination ahead. It was in that quiet balance between arrival and anticipation that the day truly began.

EN// Where the earth tells stories written in lava.
At Parque Natural de Timanfaya, we felt the raw power of nature beneath our feet. The scenery is stark, almost lunar, yet filled with an invisible sense of motion, as if the island were quietly breathing. Walking there is a reminder that Lanzarote was born from fire — and that this energy still shapes every corner of the landscape.

Bodega La Geria
EN// Vines that defy logic and celebrate resilience.
In La Geria, we witnessed how life always finds a way, even in volcanic soil. The vines, sheltered by semicircular stone walls, create an almost artistic pattern across the dark terrain. It is a landscape of resilience and ingenuity, where tradition and nature coexist in an unlikely yet beautiful harmony.

Nativity Scene at Bodega Stratvs
